Package Itinerary
Day 2 – Tevujar & Atar:
Travel toward Tevujar, passing through several local villages, and experiencing daily desert life. Stop for lunch in Tevujar, then continue to Atar to explore its market and immerse in the local culture.
Day 4 – Tunishert & Chinguetti:
Travel to Tunishert village, surrounded by dunes. Learn about local life in harsh desert conditions. Continue to Chinguetti, visiting ancient libraries and the old mosque.
Day 6 – Tijrit Oasis:
Depart from Atar and visit Tijrit, a stunning desert oasis ideal for exploration. Enjoy lunch on the road, then continue to Nouakchott, arriving in the early evening.
Day 1 – Azoueïga:
Depart from Nouakchott, stop for lunch in Akjoujet, the capital of the Inchiri region. Continue to the dunes of Azoueïga and camp under the desert stars.
Day 3 – Oudane & Guelb er Richât:
Drive to the historic Oudane. Enjoy lunch, then explore the ancient city ruins and the castle. Visit the incredible structures of The Eye of Africa (Guelb er Richât).
Day 5 – M’heireth Oasis & Azugi:
Leave Chinguetti and journey through the M’heireth (Gilta) oasis, a beautiful natural spot. Explore the town of M’heireth, known for its charm and desert scenery. Continue to Azugi, the historic city and former capital of the Almoravid (Al-Murābiṭūn) dynasty. Stop for lunch, then return to Atar for the night.
Day 7 – Nouakchott:
Spend the day exploring Nouakchott, including the Camel Market, Fish Market, and National Museum. Visit souvenir shops, then enjoy lunch and dinner in a restaurant or hotel. Afterward, transport to the airport for departure.
